Marketing Coordinator
Music for All – January 2019 to November 2019
Print & Digital Design • Project Management • Website Maintenance • Social Media Journalist • Content Creation
Music for All was also a multi-faceted role! My main focus as a Marketing Coordinator for Music for All was in graphic design and project management of print and digital materials for our events throughout the year. This includes initiating, planning, executing, and controlling all the working parts of the project.
I was to oversee our twenty-three printed program books from their conception all the way until their delivery. This includes collecting and managing materials, managing the print production timeline, researching and creating effective charts to track the progress of the project, working closely with the out-sourced design and production team to update the steps in our production process, and review project elements and develop strategy for completion on schedule and on budget.
My knowledge of design and print production allowed me to effectively assess the project timeline. I am constantly reviving our process to make it the most effective! This was the first time that the project finished on-schedule and under-budget.
I was originally hired on as an in-house designer because of my experience in design and my proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite. This includes but isn't limited to creating social media graphics, ads for print materials, email graphics, digital marketing graphics, and even cover designs. I was often asked to assist other departments by reviving and revising out-dated documents!

Music for All is a scholastic-based company that hold events that help us achieve our mission. This includes scholastic music festivals, a music camp, and marching band competitions (Bands of America). My responsibilities would shift when I was at an event. I was responsible for social media coverage for the event on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I had to be an active storyteller and journalist and find engaging stories that align with our mission to highlight! This usually included conducting interviews of our participants. Other event-based duties include being the point media person for photographers, journalists, bloggers, and news stations that show up to document our events. I would coordinate interviews between our CEO and media persons. At very least, I become an extra set of hands!

Other duties: social media marketing, digital marketing, building emails, website maintenance through Joomla and Wordpress, blogging on-site at events, and being the in-house photographer.
Graphic Designer
APEX Packaging Solutions – August 2018 to May 2019
I was a remote graphic designer for a small B2B packaging and machinery company in La Porte, Indiana. I created all print and digital marketing materials for this company for their trade shows. This included banners, parts catalogs, posters, promotional materials, and website graphics. I also assisted with writing copy for their product catalogs!

Other responsibilities included taking any photos for the catalog. I also made sure product content was up to date on their website and social media.
Graphic Design & Multi-Media Intern
Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Inc. – June 2017 to December 2017
This was my first internship in college! I was the in-house designer during graphic designer's maternity leave. During this internship I created materials for their nationwide Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This series of graphics required that I create a unique identity that aligned with the Alpha Chi brand. This identity was applied to e-mail banners, website banners, snapchat filters, donation pages, social media, Domestic Violence Awareness infographics and printed collateral for each chapter.
I updated and revived various text documents to improve readability, design, and legibility. Many of these were various historical documents like their Songbook. This allowed me to collaborate with their Historian and learn all about Alpha Chi Omega! I even was able to take a peak into their archive.
As for my other online responsibilities, I worked closely with the social media coordinator to create graphics and brainstorm social media campaigns. I had my hand in their website as well. I conducted a website review and spent a lot of my time creating and updating content on their website. I spent a lot of time taking headshots of new staff and leadership consultants for the website and printed materials.
After her leave, I assisted the main designer with convention materials like branding and ideation. I was able to create a few brand assets that were implemented in their convention brand.
Public Relations Chair & Webmaster
Sigma Kappa Sorority December 2017 - January 2018
I served as my chapter's Public Relations Chair and Webmaster. My main responsibility was to improve our public image in line with our chapter and national initiatives both digitally and physically. I saw a lot of room for improvement and was more than excited to jump in. I coordinated several events throughout the year to greater our presence on IUPUI's campus. All focused on showing our chapter in a positive light. One of my favorite was our "Sigma Kappa (Hershey's) Kiss Booth" for Valentine's Day. We handed out candy and lip temporary tattoos. For this I created all digital and print marketing materials like hand-outs with our social media handles, snap chat filters near the booth, and even Valentine's Day notes to hand out with the Hershey's kisses.

As for my position as webmaster, I am in charge of all social media accounts and our chapter website. I was in control of content displayed on these sites and creating our strategy for the year. I developed a social media strategy calendar that aligned with our goals as a chapter. This made sure we hit important dates for campaigns like recruitment. My photography skills came into play as well! I was able to take high quality photos and videos for our chapter to help revive our chapter website. Most of these photos were also posted on all of our social media channels.

Last but not least, I had the responsibility of conducting workshops for our members that educated them on our national brand guidelines and helped them show our chapter in a positive light.
Graphics Chair
Jagathon Dance Marathon October 2016 - May 2018
I served on Jagathon committee for two years. Jagathon is an all-year student run organization that specializes in raising money for pediatric research. Their main fundraising event being a 15 hour dance marathon. During my time serving on the marketing committee as graphics chair, I have gained a lot of valuable experience in social media, team management, and motion graphics.
